My name is Carly Gallante
I live in New Hampshire and run an Etsy shop called PendantPlaceStore.
I am passionate about art, people, and photography and I've channeled those passions into creating my unique picture pendants! After years of crafting gorgeous meaningful photo pendant jewelry for friends and family, I am happy to call Etsy home.
Creating uniquely touching and beautiful gifts has become my obsession
For me, it all started several years ago when I took a class on how to make charm bracelets from my local jewelry store. As I was checking out, I noticed a One Direction (the band) picture pendant. I thought the small picture charm was really cool!
I can’t remember who, but at this point, someone mentioned Etsy to me. I got really excited thinking about having my own online business! So I uploaded all my images to Etsy in my first Etsy shop…and it didn’t go so well.
I didn’t really know what I was doing and I became frustrated enough to close my first shop. I didn't give up, though. On my third try, I landed on PendantPlaceStore.
This time, I was determined to use my time and energy getting this shop to where I wanted it to be. A couple of years later, I have found amazing success with PendantPlaceStore!
Originally I was working two jobs to support myself while trying to grow my Etsy shop. My schedule was insane and I was working constantly. I knew what I needed to do to take my shop from being half of my income to my full income. It was simply a matter of taking the leap I knew I needed in order to reach my goal!
The first step I took was to schedule a coaching call with Dave Denard from Add To Cart. Dave really got me pointed in the right direction. Everything he told me to do, I did. One of the BIG suggestions Dave had for me was to use Marmalead consistently and really learn about SEO and the tools Marmalead offers.
